Qigong is an ancient Chinese natural-healing art. Qi means breathing, gong means energy work. There are many ways that Qigong can be practiced. One way is to start with sitting posture with hands facing each other in front of the chest. Both hands move slowly closer and further away like spring. Feel the gentle push and pull between the hands and following the flow, slowly but smoothly with minimum efforts. It feels like being pulled or pushed like magnet, rather than applying intentional force to move hands. As it continues, notice the sensation on the hands --- it can be some tingling, warm, or in other form. Gradually, extend the movement as the pulling and pushing sensation gets stronger. Be receptive and flow the flow. There is no rules --- you immerge into surrounding energy field and everything becomes soft and with least resistance. Listen to your body which will direct you what movements are more enjoyable, rather than direct the movements from your mind as you usually do. It can lead to energy dancing which is a full expression of your body. With mind follow the movement and energy field around, your body and mind becomes one. When finish Qiqong, hold Qi from sky and head above slowly push it into lower DianTian, do three times. To wake up, clapping hands ten times, rub the hands, and then self-massage face, neck, and shoulder. End Qigong with several gentle stretching exercises.
