The stretching exercise improves the flexibility of the body. The stretching exercises should be carried out systematically from head, neck arm, trunk, hip, thigh, leg, ankle, and foot. More importantly, it should be done with gradual force from gentle to full stretch. The stretching exercises can target specific muscle group or joint, or both. When body gets more flexible, it will be appropriate to do stretching exercise with combination of muscle groups and joints. The stretching exercises are more effective if combined with Qigong breathing in-between for smooth transition, which is also short breaks necessary for the body
